We are happy with the students from Azerbaijan!
Ingrida Kelpšaitė, Admissions officer at Vilnius University
– Vilnius University is one of the oldest educational establishments in Central and Eastern Europe. Founded in 1579, it is one of 500 leading world universities according to QS World University Rankings.
Today, over 21000 students from 70 countries study in 12 faculties and 7 institutes that hold the faculty status of the Vilnius University. The University offers 20 programs in English and Russian languages, two of which are integrated programs (medical and dental), another two are Bachelor's degree programs, and the remaining eighteen are the programs for Master's degree. This higher education institution also offers more than five hundred different language programs.
Students from Azerbaijan also study in our university (almost 20 students each year). At most, they apply for Master's degree and choose the faculties of international law, economics and business administration. We even have a graduate from Azerbaijan, who has chosen an academic career and has enrolled in the Ph.D. program and wishes to continue his activity in our University. We are happy with the students from Azerbaijan. While studying at Vilnius University, they all have an opportunity to receive their education partly in Europe based on Erasmus Plus or on the basis of bilateral agreements between the universities, as well as to pass an internship in one of the European countries.
I believe that this exhibition helps to further attract Azerbaijani citizens to receive education at Vilnius University.
